UI/UX design services: research, prototypes and design systems

Our UI/UX design services turn a product idea or a hard-to-use system into screens people understand on first use. We research your users, map the flows, build interactive prototypes in Figma and test them before any code is written, then hand developers a design system they can build from. The same team has delivered more than 85 projects in five countries.

What our UI/UX design services include

Design here covers how the product works as well as how it looks. Every step ends in something you can see, click or test.

How we work

  1. 01

    Discovery

We learn your goals, users and constraints and agree the scope.

  2. 02

    Design

Flows, prototypes and the interface, tested before we build.

  3. 03

    Build

Two-week sprints with a working version to review each time.

  4. 04

    Launch

Testing, security checks and a release without surprises.

  5. 05

    Support

Monitoring, updates and new features at an agreed pace.

When you need UX design

Good UX design costs far less than rebuilding a product that people do not use. Companies usually come to us at one of these points:

  • You have an idea and need to see it, test it and show it to investors before you fund the build.
  • Users sign up but drop off, call support with the same questions, or never find the main features.
  • Your internal tool works, but staff need training to use it and still make mistakes.
  • The product grew one feature at a time and now every screen looks and behaves differently.
  • You are about to rebuild or modernize an old system and want the new version to fit how people work today.

In each case the answer starts the same way: talk to the people who use the product, then design and test before you build. Design work is part of every product we build, and you can also hire it on its own.

Our UX design process

  1. Product discovery. Workshops with your team, interviews with users and a review of any product or data you already have. Our product discovery services end with a clear problem statement, user goals and a prioritized feature list.
  2. User flows and information architecture. We map each task step by step and decide what lives on which screen, before drawing any of them.
  3. Wireframes. Low-detail layouts of the key screens, quick to change while the structure is still open.
  4. Interactive prototypes. Clickable Figma prototypes that look and behave like the finished product, on desktop and on phone.
  5. Usability testing. We watch real users try the prototype on set tasks, note where they hesitate, and fix the design before it reaches development.
  6. UI design and design system. Final visual design, a component library and the rules for colour, type, spacing and states, ready for handoff.

Product discovery services

Product discovery is the first phase of design and often the most valuable. It answers what to build before anyone decides how it looks. In a short discovery phase we run workshops with the people who own the product, interview users and the staff who support them, review your analytics and any competing products, and map the business rules the design has to respect.

You come out of it with a written summary of user goals and problems, the main user journeys, a prioritized feature list for the first release, and the open questions that still need an answer. That document is useful on its own: you can take it to investors, to your board or to any development team. If the idea turns out to need a change of direction, discovery is the cheapest moment to find out.

Prototyping services: test before you build

A prototype is the cheapest version of your product. In Figma we can build anything from a few linked screens to a detailed prototype with real content, transitions and edge cases. You can put it in front of users, investors or your own sales team long before any code exists, and every change at this stage is a design change, not a code change.

Prototypes also settle debates. Instead of arguing over a feature in a meeting, you watch a handful of users try it and the answer is usually obvious. When the prototype has been tested and agreed, it becomes the brief for development: the developers see exactly what to build and how each screen behaves.

If you want to go from prototype to a working first version quickly, our MVP development service picks up the design and builds it.

Design systems and developer handoff

Handoff is where many designs lose quality. We avoid it by designing in a way developers can build from directly:

  • A Figma component library with every state: default, hover, focus, disabled, error, loading and empty
  • Design tokens for colour, typography and spacing that map to code
  • Responsive layouts for phone, tablet and desktop
  • Accessibility built in: contrast, focus order, readable type and clear labels
  • Annotated specs and a walkthrough with the development team

A design system also keeps the product consistent as it grows. New features reuse existing components, so they look right and take less time to design and build. When we also build the product, our designers review the finished screens against the design before each release.

A UX design agency that also builds the product

Many UX design agencies stop at the Figma file. We design and build, so the designers and the engineers sit in the same team from discovery to launch. Designs are checked for what is feasible before you see them, and nothing gets lost between two companies.

You can hire us for design alone and give the files to your own developers, or carry on with our web app development services or our mobile app development services. We design for startups, SaaS and fintech products, internal business tools and public services, for clients in the USA, Canada, Europe and Albania. UI/UX design

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between UI and UX design?

UX design is how the product works: who uses it, what they need to do, the steps and screens to get there, and how easy that is. UI design is how it looks and feels: layout, colour, type, buttons and states. You need both, and UX comes first, because a well-styled screen in the wrong flow still fails.

How much do UI/UX design services cost?

It depends on the number of user types and key flows, how much research and testing you need, whether you need a full design system, and whether you have an existing product to start from. We quote after a short call: you receive a written proposal with the scope, the deliverables and the timeline.

Which design tools do you use?

We design and prototype in Figma, so you and your developers can open, comment on and inspect every screen in the browser without extra software. The files, the component library and the prototypes are shared with you throughout the project and belong to you at the end.

Can you redesign an existing product?

Yes. We start with a UX review of the current product: we look at your analytics and support requests, watch users complete their main tasks, and list the problems by impact. Then we redesign the flows that matter most first, so improvements can ship in stages rather than in one big release.

Do you test designs with real users?

Yes. We run usability tests on the prototype with people who match your users, give them real tasks and watch where they hesitate or get stuck. You can join the sessions. We report what we saw and change the design before development starts, when changes are still cheap.

Can our own developers build from your designs?

Yes. You can hire us for design only. We deliver a Figma component library, design tokens, responsive layouts and annotated specs, and walk your developers through them. We can also review the built screens against the design and answer questions while your team works.
